Arthur
"Kit" Weathers, Jr., DDS, Graduated from Emory University School of
Dentistry 1967, and served in the US Air Force Dental Corps until 1970. He has been
in private practice in Griffin, Georgia from then until present,
Dr. Weathers as a general dentist, limited his practice to Endodontics 17 years ago in
1982, and has been "Taking the Mystery Out of Endodontics" for his fellow GP's
for more than 21 years.He began publishing
"Practical Endodontics" newsletter in October 1991. Published monthly,
"Practical Endodontics" is the only national newsletter on endodontics for the
general practitioner.
In 1986 Dr. Weathers, and his partner Dr. Bill Strupp,
started "Video Study Club" to help bring affordable video continuing education
to the dental profession.
He has lectured In almost every State in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, and
the Philippines on the subject of endodontics.
Dr. Weathers has written three textbooks and several feature articles for major magazines
such as "Dentistry Today".
In December, 1997, Dr. Weathers was recognized as one of the
leaders in dental education by Dentistry Today.
Dr. Weathers developed the PE-300 endodontics handpiece and the Endo Magic rotary nickel
titanium file system.
Dr. Weathers was recently knighted by the Knights of Malta for his charitable
contributions throughout the years.
